Canarywood End Grain Cutting Board Chopping Block

This Canarywood end grain cutting board is available with or without rubber feet.

Dimensions are 8 3/4"X7"X1 3/8".

All of our cutting boards are hand crafted using only the highest quality hardwoods available.

End grain cutting boards are easier on knives, due to the wood's ability to absorb the cutting action and rebound to it's natural state.
Each board is hand rubbed with food grade mineral oil which helps repel contamination.
These boards will last a lifetime with proper care.
We recommend treating the board once a month with food grade mineral oil.
Don't use vegetable oil, as it may turn rancid, and transfer a foul taste to your food.
Never put the board in the dishwasher or leave it wet after use.
Use vinegar or a diluted bleach mixture to disinfect, allow to dry and then treat with mineral oil.

The Canarywood tree, or Centrolobium, is grown in South America, from Panama down to southern Brazil. It grows to a height of up to 100' with a trunk diameter of 2-3'.
It is not listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
